Xmas tag

I have to admit this year, I'm doing a pretty good job of getting Christmas presents I hadn't bought hardly any by this time last year. I like being organized and having a list of what I'm planning on getting people is a must have for me. That way I can get in to town and avoid any unnecessary shopping, especially at this time of year. I think I'm more prepared this year because I don't have nearly as many people to buy presents for. Anyhoo, enough about buying presents and town - lets get into the TAG!

1.  Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?
I've never actually had a real tree, but I do love how they look. My mum has always gone for a synthetic one just down to the fact in the long run its cheaper - and it doesn't moult.

2.  You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
I always always go for the festive drinks, in Starbucks it's the egg nog latte and in Costa it's either the Chocolate orange latte or the Creme Brulee latte. Unfortunately this year they don't sell it.

3.  Whats your favourite colour scheme for decorating the tree?
It's normally gold and red with white lights. Although growing up it was multi coloured lights and mishmash of colours for the tinsel. Then we would put whatever decorations we had at hand on the tree.

4.  Giving or receiving?
Definitely giving. I'm the type of person that spends waaaay to much time looking out presents I also spend a lot of time wrapping them so they look perfect. Getting presents is great too, but nothing beats the look on someones face when you give them their present :)

5.  To mince pie or not to?
Everyone in my family loves mince pies, we used to buy them growing up. Yet this year me and my mum are having a go at making our own. We have already made the filling ourselves so it's now just the rest of it.

6.  What's your traditional sunday lunch?
It's a traditional turkey dinner, with sprouts, swede, carrots, parsnips and pigs in blankets ect. My dad has roast beef as he's not a big fan of turkey. It is then followed by trifle or some sort of desert if we aren't too stuffed by then.

7.  Christmas day fashion
In the morning its just PJ's and lounging around. Is there a better way to chill out? For the dinner it's whatever we feel comfortable in. I normally wear a jumper, jeans or trousers and slippers.

8.  What's your favourite Christmas song?
Pretty much the classic Christmas songs, like White Christmas, Chestnuts Roasting, Winter Wonderland. As well as I Wish it Could Be Xmas Everyday and Fairy Tale of New York.

9.  What's your favourite Christmas film?
It's A Wonderful Life hands down every year I watch it along with Muppets Christmas Carol and White Chritsmas.

10.  Open presents before or after lunch?
We open our presents before Breakfast, then it's normally an English breakfast (fry up eggs, bacon, black pudding etc) then it's watch a film or two then Lunch/Dinner then films/games then Tea which normally is cold turkey, ham, pork pies and sort of help yourself really.
